Food Donations

Donation Dates and Time: We are open to receive nonperishable food donations Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-11:30am as well as Monday evenings from 7pm to 8pm. On 1st and 3rd Wednesdays when the food pantry will be open, we accept produce and bakery donations from 10am to 11:30am and 4pm to 5pm.

To donate food to the DSFP, other than at the regular donation times, please tell us what foods you have to donate in the following form and submit it. We will respond by email or phone.

Wondering what non-perishable food to donate?

The Dulles South Food Pantry needs:
fruit (in cans, plastic or dried);
boxed shelf stable milk;
tomato products of all kinds;
dry or canned lentils and beans;
pasta sauce (no glass please);
canned chicken or other protein;
peanut butter;
chili and stews with protein;
small bags of rice or rice mixes;
boxed potatoes;
pancake or baking mix;
breakfast cereal and oatmeal;
breakfast bars, granola bars;
personal care items such as shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, laundry detergent and feminine hygiene products;
and grocery store gift cards in any amount.

Financial donations are always appreciated.

We do not distribute diapers or baby wipes.

The food pantry is temporarily full for canned soup.

*No expired food please.

Wondering about donating perishable items?

On the days of September 2nd and September 16th the pantry would be very grateful for donations of any fresh produce including items grown in home gardens. Tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, apples, bananas, oranges, carrots and potatoes are all very popular.
