Helping Local Children Thrive
According to the USDA annual report, "Household Food Security in the United States," 11 million children in our country are living in “food insecure” homes. 17% of children in Loudoun County Public Schools struggle with hunger, receiving reduced and free meals at school. Hunger affects a child's attention span at school, affects health, and limits a child's ability to thrive.
